Lauren Jutras, MD

Lauren N. Jutras, MD, is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in abdominal imaging at Imaging Specialists of Charleston, LLC. She joined the practice in 2025 following completion of her abdominal imaging fellowship at Emory University.

Prior to fellowship, Dr. Jutras completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, where she served as chief resident from 2023 to 2024. She previously fulfilled her general surgery internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. Jutras earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Science in biology and physical science, cum laude, from Queens University of Charlotte. She has also held research roles at the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of Kentucky, contributing to projects on Alzheimer’s disease, Down syndrome, and neuropathology.

She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology. Her research and case presentations include topics such as neuroimaging, Alzheimer’s disease, pediatric brain imaging, and ultrasound in male infertility, presented at national and international meetings.

Dr. Jutras holds certification from the American Board of Radiology (ABR Core Exam) and is trained in advanced radiology life support.

A Lowcountry native, Dr. Jutras is excited to return home to Charleston, where her family resides on James Island.
